Last night I hung out with Krista’s friends here in Indiana and we played catchphrase. It was my turn and I said, “In Harry Potter, the boys are wizards and the girls are…” Everyone stared at me blankly. I sighed and said, “Wears a black pointy hat and rides a broom.” I was very disappointed.

Top ten myths about introverts
jerrybrito:
Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk. This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days.
Myth #2 – Introverts are shy. Shyness has nothing to do with being an Introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need...

The owner of the movie theater by my house said his daughter is married to Jennifer Lawrence’s brother.

THE HUNGER GAMES THE HUNGER GAMES THE HUNGER GAMES
in less than an hour!
Gah I hate being on the west coast just because I feel like I’m always the last to do everything.
I had a very deep, philosophical discussion with the dental hygienist today. It was very enlightening and it was nice to discuss ideas even though it was difficult because he was cleaning my teeth. haha
I swear, I can’t go anywhere without something interesting happening to me.
I think someone would be very entertained if they were me for a week.

I have Help! and A Hard Days Night
Oh sweet!
I don’t remember if we have any at my house or if we had rented them.
I really want to watch all of The Beatles’ movies. I love those fantastic fellas.
I am so exhausted.
But I’m done. I’m completely done with winter term.
That was the hardest term/semester I’ve ever had. Even if I have a lot more classes/coursework in a future term, it still wouldn’t beat this one.
Am I really done?
Wow. Finally.
And now for my grand reward for finishing:
Seeing Wicked on Wednesday and The Hunger Games on Friday.
And a week from...

I love America because the majority of teenagers who want to take initiative and further their education in order to follow their dreams are forced to take on a monstrous debt that will probably haunt them through a siginificant part of their life at the age of 17 or 18
How To Ruin Your Life
madefearfully:
redlipsandcigaretteburns:
Stay in one place your whole life. Always order vanilla even though the menu is four pages long. Become the type of person who sends back lattes. Save up your money for a plasma TV instead of a plane ticket. Talk a lot about things you know nothing about. Have an affair with someone you don’t even find attractive.
Refuse to forget your ex. Make it...

It’s so easy to get overwhelmed, to get sad, to get swallowed up in everything that is bigger than ourselves.
So, stop, take a deep breath, understand you’re amazing in your own way, do the best you can, and don’t let anyone tell you it’s less than great.

eighth grade was a dark time for everyone
i’d just like to point out that for me 8th grade was the best thing ever
In 8th grade I wore mary-janes and glasses and was obsessed with drama class. It was the best.
The first half of 8th grade I thought I was hot shit and then the second half I became good...

Facebook should have a feature where you can go to your friends list and see “people I’m ‘friends’ with but have never talked to on here” and “people I haven’t talked to in more than 8 months”. Those would obviously be the people you really should unfriend.

I notice everything.
And by everything, I literally mean everything. I notice when someone stops hitting me up like they used to. I notice when the way someone talks to me starts changing. I notice the little things that people do, and the little things they used to do. I notice when things change, and when it’s no longer the same. I notice every single little detail. I just don’t say anything.

Powell's Trip with Hannah/Streetcar Adventures
So I met up with Hannah and because we haven’t seen each other in weeks, we had much to talk about. We were chatting about plans to travel/study abroad while we rode the streetcar to Powell’s.
I didn’t really pay attention to the two guys behind me, but I did wonder why they were talking about hollandaise sauce so much.
When Hannah and I got off the streetcar, she told me that...

The Portland Farmer's Market is a reminder of why...
My visit today was also a reminder of why I fell in love with it last Fall. Even if you don’t buy anything, just walking around and seeing the people and the foods is a great experience.
But I did buy some stuff. I planned on getting fruit, but all I really wanted was grapefruit and no one was selling any. I don’t think it’s in season yet. However, I bought some fresh spinach...

FRENCH TOAST CLASSIC
I have been in love with french toast as long as I can remember.

One thing I dislike about myself: my nose. I think it looks fine from the front or at certain angles, but I don’t like the profile view of my nose. Thanks genetics.
I was already feeling self-conscious of it before, but watching last week’s episode of Glee made me obsess over my nose even more because of the focus put on Rachel’s nose. (Thanks a lot Glee.)

It’s ridiculous >.< My friends aunt went to school at pacific ($40k a year now) and it was $800 per year for tuition.
Don’t tell me stuff like that. I’m going to cry. This is precisely why I told you not to go to college if you don’t absolutely need it.
